In fact, many Richmonders are known to browse the shop even when not at Retreat for a medical-related visit! Its convenient Historic Fan District location and excellent merchandise make it a popular shopping spot. Items for sale include unique and high-quality art, jewelry and pottery, as well as greeting cards, candy and other typical gift shop offerings. Perhaps another part of the attraction is that all proceeds go to local community health organizations, many of which focus on women's health issues.
